Answer to the frequently asked question: why don’t we repaint our refrigerated containers (e.g. fresh white)?
 
There are several reasons.
 
First: the original factory-applied paint is higher quality and more durable than a later-added fresh coat.
Second: repainting can give the impression that the container is new, when in reality it’s used and older. This can be misleading.
 
We recommend buying refrigerated containers with their original paint – that way, you know exactly what you’re getting.
 
When purchasing a refrigerated container, the most important factor to consider is the year of manufacture. The older the container, the cheaper it is; the newer, the more expensive.
Also important is the number of running hours on the unit and the container itself – older containers that look fresh due to new paint often have high usage hours, which increases the risk of malfunctions during use.
