However, due to production delays, the transport solution had to be revised, and the equipment was <a href=\"https:\/\/scanmarine.ee\/en\/services\/airfreight\/\">transported by air<\/a>. Shipping by sea would have taken approximately 30 days, but using air transport, the total transport time was 9 days. Out of this, the actual flight time was only 1 day. The remaining time was spent transporting the cargo to Amsterdam, handling shipping formalities, and waiting for the flight. <a href=\"https:\/\/scanmarine.ee\/en\/services\/high-and-heavy-transport-project-cargoes\/\">Special permits<\/a> were required for the transport to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schiphol.nl\/en\/cargo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amsterdam<\/a> as the shipment was 2.68 meters wide.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nPackage dimensions and weight: 2680 x 2680 x 1110 mm (LxWxH) \/ weight 973 kg.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe equipment was destined for the construction of a new power plant in Egypt.
